DAVENPORT, Iowa — Authorities have formally charged 21-year-old Raymond Robinson and 36-year-old Danny Howard in connection with a deadly shooting early Friday morning at a Davenport bar that claimed the lives of 23-year-old Dane Howard and 44-year-old Damien Howard Sr., and left another victim injured.


According to the Davenport Police Department, Robinson and Howard have been arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses related to the incident. Their charges include:
- Two counts of First-Degree Murder
- Four counts of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon
- Going Armed with Intent
Both men are currently booked in the Scott County Jail.
Police confirmed that the two victims who died—Dane Howard and Damien Howard Sr.—were residents of Davenport. A third victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment.
Officers were dispatched around 1:45 a.m. to the Chill Vibez Lounge in the 100 block of Myrtle Street after reports of gunfire and at least one shooting victim.
Upon arriving, police located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Shortly afterward, officers learned of a second victim who had been driven by private vehicle to another medical facility, where he was also pronounced deceased.
Investigators report that the deadly confrontation began with a physical altercation that escalated into gunfire. Early evidence indicates the violence was not random. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing physical evidence collected at the scene.
