NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Authorities have identified the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in North Little Rock as 19-year-old Jaybriann Turner. The tragic incident took place in the 1900 block of Parker around 2:14 a.m., according to North Little Rock Police Department officials.
Police say officers responded promptly to reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered Turner suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment, but despite medical efforts, she later succumbed to her injuries.
At this time, no suspect information has been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
