ADAMS COUNTY, Ill. — The Adams County community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jaden D. Gutting, 22, of Mendon, who tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash on Friday morning. According to Adams County Coroner Scott Graham, Gutting was the sole occupant of an SUV that ran off Highway 24 near Camp Point. Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched at 6:31 a.m. after the SUV was found off the roadway between E 2000th and E 2100th Streets.
