Howard Gross, Reginald Hall, and Infant Die in Tragic Head-On Crash; One Adult in Critical Condition

CENTRAL, La. — A community is mourning an unimaginable loss after a tragic head-on crash on Thanksgiving evening claimed the lives of Howard Gross, 58; Reginald Hall, 44; and an infant whose name has not yet been released, while leaving another adult in critical condition. What should have been a night of gratitude and togetherness has instead become a moment of deep sorrow for families, friends, and the entire Central and Baton Rouge area.

According to the Central Police Department and Baton Rouge Parish EMS, the crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the 7500 block of Joor Road. Investigators believe a southbound vehicle with a single occupant crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle carrying four people. The impact was devastating.

Three passengers in the northbound vehicle died from their injuries, including the precious infant victim whose identity has not yet been released. The fourth person, an adult, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and the community continues to hold hope for their recovery.
