Without hesitation, deputies began administering life-saving measures, doing everything within their power to help him as they awaited the arrival of Pafford Emergency Services. Their efforts reflected the urgency and gravity of the moment, as every second mattered.

    Cornelius was transported by ambulance to Baptist Hospital in Yazoo City, where medical staff continued to fight for his life. Despite these efforts, he was sadly pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital. The news of his passing sent waves of sorrow through his family, friends, and all who knew him.
