Bristol, TN – Authorities have charged 18-year-old Elijah Khalil Campbell with multiple serious offenses, including two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder, following a tragic double homicide over the past weekend in Bristol, Tennessee.
Campbell is currently being held at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority facility while awaiting extradition back to Tennessee. At this time, no information has been released regarding the date of his initial court appearance.
The victims who died as a result of this incident have been identified as 20-year-old Deonte Wright and 21-year-old Lexy Coleman. A third individual, 22-year-old Kevin Collin, sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized.
