On November 29, 2025, officers with the Albany Police Department responded to the 300 block of Carriage Lane around 7:00 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they discovered a 19-year-old male, identified as Jabion, lying outside with a gunshot wound.
Despite the efforts of first responders, Jabion succumbed to his injury at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released additional details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting, including potential suspects or a motive. Investigators remain on scene reviewing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and canvassing the area for information that may help piece together what led to the deadly incident.
At this time, the case remains under active investigation. Officials say updates will be provided as soon as new information becomes available and can be released to the public.
